I always wanted to know if they really got along since he did not have a good time being the doctor.

There are a few behind-the-scenes videos that show them getting along just fine, being goofy with each other and clearly having a good time.

Their relationship couldn’t have been too icy, since rumors were floated by the press that they had an affair while she was married. He denied it pretty firmly.

He actually gave a more recent interview where he hinted that he somewhat regretted leaving (he says he left on principle because of the less-than-savory working conditions due to a disorganized production team) and feels that 2-3 seasons would’ve been the right amount to properly get under the skin of such a character since it’s a hard part to get right.

Salt in the wounds, but there you have it. I don’t think he’s ever said that he hated doing it or hates being associated with it.

I dunno, I was just thinking about how the dwarves probably know all sorts of languages of Men that either aren’t spoken anymore or have changed entirely or are spoken only in far-flung places or what, I dunno but I like the idea that the dwarves, if they need to talk privately and don’t want anyone having the opportunity to pick up Khuzdul, can smoothly switch into Seriously Ancient Dalish or some tiny extinct dialect of Haradric and confuse everybody, and there are dwarven scholars that spend their lives arguing over hieroglyphics from languages nobody else in Middle-Earth has kept records of, only like, these are dwarven arguments which means there have been giant destructive brawls that broke out over a diacritic.
